ACTOR

It started . . . oh, so long ago when becoming an actor was an ambition, but fate kept that door shut. When the door to acting again showed itself, I ran through and never looked back. I did this knowing coming late to acting is usually not successful.
Acting needs hard work and study, and I did all the things a novice actor does to learn the craft. I studied acting methods with experts, found a trusted experienced mentor, worked as a background actor, and joined a select acting company.
Soon, I was performing on stage, appearing in films, acting in music videos, doing commercials and voice work.
Now . . . I have appeared in over 25 Off/Off & Off-Broadway productions, several regional theatres, a few community theatre performances, -- three feature films, -- over 15 short-films, a music video and some commercials. With each role I grew as an actor and took on more challenging parts. And now, I am cast as a principal, a lead or as a key supporting player.
Career success comes with passion, a desire to learn, a willingness to take chances, to be open to risk and, as an actor, to be vulnerable. For me acting is not a pastime -- it is a passion. Commitment, dedication, and skill have allowed me to stand on stage or on a set with seasoned actors. Now professionals call me in for stage or film roles because they have seen or heard about my work. So . . .
It's time . . . to open even more doors. I hope to expand my work in feature films, find even more challenging roles in the Indie film world and on stage, broaden my representation, and grow my acting network.
Despite coming late to acting and knowing the road behind me is longer than the road before me, I am here now.
Carpe Diem!
